Health and Social Care Programme

Health and Social Care

Part of the Public Services Innovation and Best Practice Network

How can we construct and sustain an integrated system of care? How will the NHS and local councils work together in practice? How can we save £30bn without letting quality of care suffer? How should we lead the workforce through radical change, whilst improving the patient experience and outcomes?

The Health & Social Care programme focuses on the key, most timely issues in healthcare commissioning and provision, including the integration of healthcare and social services, the involvement of Local Authorities in public and community health and the system enablers that support these changes. Identifying case studies of best practice and innovation and from these publishing actionable guidance for the wider sector, it engages the senior experts directly involved in leading reform including executives from the national leadership bodies, the NHS, Local Authorities, industry and academia.
