Public sector experience sharing
CGR ESG 34 - The pressures to make public services more accessible and effective while improving their efficiency will mean that digital delivery is on the agenda of any future government. This ESG discussed what customer insight tells us about the requirements of citizens and businesses, based on HMRC work. Businesslink.gov.uk then offered a view on good practice in delivering services digitally, including the challenges. The public services will need to work closely with private sector providers, both to learn from their experience but also as potential delivery partners. The session concluded with a discussion about best practice in public-private partnerships, based on case studies and insights drawn from Tata Consultancy Services.
