Guideline Development Groups (GDGs)
Best practice guidelines encapsulate our Network’s settled view on ‘what good looks like’ in a priority theme. These four page documents offer an overview of the key issues in an area, and guidelines for a senior readership on implementing change.
They are used by members to influence and educate the sectors we operate in. They feature checklists, key questions, self-assessments, maturity models and further devices that help to summarise and communicate the Network's point of view.
Guidelines are generated through development sessions hosted by ITW or our members over a period of three to six months. Development groups include a wide variety of experts in the field to ensure a representative and well validated view emerges.
Authorship is led by senior service providers to draw on cross sector and international experience.
Guidelines are widely promoted via ITW Networks and network participants.
