Focus Projects

ITW’s Focus Projects give participants the opportunity to explore emerging issues in public service delivery in greater depth.

Each project involves a minimum of three half-day group workshops over a period of four months, with up to 15 senior public service leaders and 5 private sector organisations from relevant areas forming the working group.

The workshops are designed with input from the participants and are carefully structured and facilitated by ITW staff to maximise the opportunity for debate and experience sharing.

A dedicated researcher from ITW’s experienced Public Services team manages the project on a day-to-day basis and leads on drafting the results.

Outputs from the projects – typically in the form of a decision-making framework – are promoted widely, contributing to the development of better and more cost effective public services.

The results of ITW’s latest project, on New Models of Service Delivery, will be available in early 2012.
