ITW Communications. Experience counts – sharing multiplies it.

ITW has a 25 year track record in scoping, specifying and delivering awareness and engagement campaigns targeted at business, central and local government and intermediaries. We help our clients to communicate complex issues clearly.

We bring a rich understanding to campaign messages, audiences and channels and offer more than a standard communications service. We draw on the knowledge gained through our best practice networks to ensure that campaigns are based on strong sector understanding.

ITW is adept at leveraging networks to access sponsorship opportunities and alternative funding sources to grow the options available to clients.

We provide a project office to manage a range of communications services - a single point of contact removes complexity for our clients.

Thought leadership series
These series provide an environment for
structured, best practice experience sharing amongst thought leaders, to address key issues in business transformation. They provide an opportunity to build effective relationships with senior professionals across sectors.

Communications experience:

The Local eGovernment Programme
ITW scoped, managed and delivered major elements of CLG’s £675m Local eGov programme. The programme was a highly successful catalyst for e-enablement in local government. We engaged 18,000 local government decision makers in the Local eGov events programme. The public sector CRM database, Comcord gave us detailed understanding of the interests and needs of the public sector community and provided a cost effective marketing channel.

Best practice framework for programme communications: Digital Inclusion research
CLG commissioned ITW to carry out research into the characteristics of effective communications in government programmes. The research resulted in an evidence base and framework that can be used across government and the commercial sectors to design programmes. The new framework brings together the critical success (and failure) factors for communications and stakeholder engagement and provides a check list for designing, reviewing and evaluating the communications and stakeholder engagement elements of any programme.

ITW/Capgemini Regional Studies & Chief Executive Symposia

ITW was engaged to work with regional stakeholders to develop a collaborative framework to deliver “Gershon” savings. The framework was developed in collaboration with Capgemini and our symposia engaged Chief Executives and senior managers of authorities in all nine regions including regional and national stakeholder representatives (such as Regional Centres of Excellence, Regional Development Agencies, Government Offices, LGA, I&DeA, ODPM, Cabinet Office).

National e-Procurement Project (NePP)
A project designed to accelerate the take up of e-procurement in England’s then 388 local councils. ITW project managed the programme and provided regional experience sharing seminars, newsfeeds and an annual national conference.
