ITW Advisory. Strategy with people who listen.

Facilitating ITW best practice networks keeps us at the forefront of transformational change.
We focus on small, strategic projects and always draw on the experience of our network members to strengthen the advice we provide.

ITW has a 25-year pedigree in advisory services. Our clients ask us for independent advice on change management issues based on good practice and business insight drawn from our networks.

Our people are among the best at the private / public interface. We are different because the experience and expertise of our network members adds new insight to all of the advisory projects we undertake.

For example, in a corporate services assignment for a national organisation we were able to field the experiences of our major service provider and private sector network members to support our recommendations.

Our advisory service is also enhanced by ITW Communications expertise. For example, whilst working with the NHS to produce an e-enablement strategy, our ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders secured long term commitment to the evolving strategy.

Advisory Services:

  • Scoping change programmes: vision and strategy

  • Engaging stakeholders and sponsors
  • Options identification and appraisal
  • Best practice development
  • Market research
  • Scenario planning

Advisory experience:

Scenarios in the market for e-marketplaces
A national provider engaged ITW to appraising the market development options for e-marketplaces. We consulted our network members about potential futures and developed a range of possible scenarios for the market, helping the client to make important investment decisions.

Government Offices for the Regions
We worked with the Government Office Network to help better define their service offering and define a new business model to enable them work more effectively as a strategic network, representing Whitehall in the regions. We also reviewed corporate services across the Department for Communities and Local Government and its agencies to recommend value for money improvements based on shared service models.
